Rosh Hashanah
My husband and I love celebrating events. Particularly because we love connecting to people (He loves it more than me; I’m a bit of an introvert who remains in her small circle and celebrates everything with her husband)
We love discussing and celebrating events, but this year we were filled with sadness. I sensed this sadness in him when he spoke about Rosh Hashanah.
This year, Rosh Hashanah isn’t the same. The Jewish community continues to suffer, and although there’s so much grief, our resolve should be stronger.
This day encourages emotional transcendence, urging one to rise above sorrow without turning a blind eye to it—an opportunity to seek the higher power and return grounded, with a renewed sense of courage and strength.
This year, we also need to be more positive, loving, and caring toward one another. Uncertain times require us to stand with each other even stronger.
May we find strength in each other and heal.
Sending our love to the Jewish community.
