This is why the government’s Dental Care policy is one of the most important ones, designed for the well-being of every Canadian. It’s the most historic social policy of Prime Minister Trudeau in Canadian history, making dental care free and affordable for everyone.
As of today, more than 2.4 million Canadians have been approved to receive coverage under the policy. More than 650,000 Canadians have already received care, and more than $442 million in dental expenses have been covered.
What’s even more amazing is that over 82% of dental care providers are on board with Canada’s Dental Care Plan, ensuring that people can easily access the care they need.
Right now, The Canadian Dental Care Plan is open to seniors, adults with a valid Disability Tax Credit certificate, and children under 18. It covers services like cleanings, fillings, dentures, and more, making sure that Canadians take care of themselves.
